HavenPoint Assisted Living is committed to providing safe, dignified, resident-centered care. The following summarizes the guiding policies and procedures for our community. Full policy manuals are maintained on-site and available to residents, families, and regulators upon request.
Every resident has the right to be treated with dignity and respect, to privacy, to participate in decisions about their own care, to voice concerns without fear of retaliation, and to have their cultural and religious practices respected. These rights are consistent with the Minnesota Home Care Bill of Rights and applicable federal and state regulations.
Admission is based on an individualized assessment of each prospective resident's needs, to confirm HavenPoint can safely and appropriately meet them. HavenPoint provides assisted living and personal care services and is not licensed to provide memory care.
Each resident receives an individualized service plan, developed with the resident and, where appropriate, their family and healthcare providers. Plans are reviewed regularly and updated as needs change.
HavenPoint maintains qualified, trained staff on-site 24 hours a day. Staff complete background studies and orientation, and receive ongoing training consistent with Minnesota Department of Health requirements.
The community maintains emergency preparedness, incident reporting, infection-control, and medication-management procedures designed to protect resident health and safety.
Residents and families may raise concerns at any time with community leadership. Concerns are documented and addressed promptly, and residents may also contact the Minnesota Office of Ombudsman for Long-Term Care.
